Beenleigh welcomes new business! Recovery Plus Support, Primacy Care and Maple Plan are all providers within the NDIS, and together they welcome a collaboration of space and support. Marlena and Sam celebrate their first pregnancy with a gifted maternity session. Sessions like this one capture the fleeting 9 months before a beautiful baby is welcomed into the world changing lives for ever, and for the better. This baby is lucky to have two lovely, and caring individuals as parents. Wish you all the best, Marlena and Sam on your journey as Mum and Dad.

The Heise's are a very special family to me. Not only have they supported me endlessly with being their assigned family and business photographer from the very beginning, but we have all watched ourselves multiply with kids, (they are well and truly in the lead) and been there to watch the ups and downs of life whilst sharing a faith to get us through.  Here are some of my favourites from a recent shoot. ​

As part of Diana's Mother's day photos (see previous post), I was privelaged enough to be asked to photograph her Father, known lovingly as Poppy. He was a kind man - pulled me in for a hug as soon as we met, kind of kind. I was happy to capture these for his family. It was not long after he left the world to be in peace. Enjoy the island, Poppy.

 Meet Diana ~ teacher, daughter, mother, grandmother, friend and lover.  Getting to know her has been enriching. I love people, I love the shared humaness we all carry and the opportunity we get given to impart our journeys with one another. She is a teacher by profession, and more so by nature. Not forgetting a fur mama too! ​

It's been a while since I've taken on work with young children in tow. This year, there's been no better way than to kick things off with these beautiful and entertaining women from Brisbane band, 'Diddly Squat' who don't take life too seriously. Another successful occassion for Rotary, and the guest speakers were well worth a listen to on the job.

Just in time for Summer 2018, these new water slides down at Hastings Point are already popular among locals and tourists. These promotional images were taken for a range of advertisements including magazine publication.

Your favourite photos can sometimes happen when you least expect it. These were taken at the end of our shoot with  Amber. As we were headed back to our cars, the afternoon sunlight broke through the clouds making the lighting too irresistable to not unpack the gear and make the most. A little different to the appeal of long grass favoured by most mummies, but good sunlight on an oval works just as well!
